Zimbra Desktop is product that recently got lot of attention. It is client software that can work offline, without a need for permanent Internet connection. It fully supports Zimbra Collaboration Suite, in fact it is based on same code. It also supports standard protocols, so you can use it with GMail, AOL and other email providers.
